Come join us for a mid-week run. Begining May 25th we will return to our normal scheduled Wednesday time of 6:30pm and May 28th we return to 8:00am Saturdays.

 

The group runs around 30-45 minutes and runners of all level are welcome. We typically run for around 3 miles plus depending on the group. Some of the group will run longer if they happen to be training for something and want to get the miles in, others will run less depending on what they feel like doing that day.  

Come enjoy special guest speakers and educators, newest model shoe demos, refreshments and more.

Join Dick Pond Athletics on Saturday mornings at 8:00 am for a fun run. Runners of all levels welcome. Distance anywhere from 3-12 miles or more depending on the group. Many of the people are Walk2Run graduates. Some of the group will run/walk for 30-40 minutes instead of running the whole time. Anything goes, everyone does the distance they want to do.

Marathon training resumes May 21st!

 

Marathon training begins May 21st at 8:00am Saturdays from the store. Start times will get earlier as the miles increase.

Track Workouts Begin May 24th!

 

Workouts will be held from May 24th through September 27th, 2022. 

 

Track workouts are held on Tuesday nights at Benjamin Middle School in West Chicago at 6:30 pm. Some of the runners meet at the store at 6:00 for a warm-up run to the school. Others meet right at the school and are warmed up and ready to go at 6:30.

Youth Running Program

 

Join us at Redhawk Park directly across from our Carol Stream location for a 7 week youth running program for ages 5 and up!

 

The program will be on Monday nights June 13th - July 25th at 5:30pm. An adult must accompany their child and fill out a participant's form the first day of the session. This program will include drills and games to make running fun! Experienced college runners will run the program.
