Dick Pond Athletics Racing Team

The Dick Pond Athletics Racing Team was established in 2003 as a way to support elite runners in the Chicagoland area. Approximately 30 members raced in 6-10 local races together and earned prize $$ for performing well overall and in their age groups. In 2009, Saucony joined the team and became the Dick Pond Racing Team Sponsor, fully outfitting the team with Saucony running shoes and apparel.

For the 2010 season, we are proud to announce a partnership with the Fast Track Racing Team, a premier racing club established in the northwest suburbs for runners of all levels and experience. The team brings together a group of over 100 people who train and race together with similar goals and interests. Through camaraderie, friendship and the pursuit of excellence, the team will participate in as many as 17 CARA circuit races in Chicagoland this season. Membership is open to runners of all levels and each member can participate in any workouts and races they choose.

The strength of our team is the "Power of the Group" philosophy. Our runners train and compete in road races and marathons together as a team. Whether you are running your first 5K or your 10th marathon, all runners are welcome. With a variety of weekly workouts and events, we have designed the program to provide you with a great experience, and to help you improve your performance and reach your goals! In addition, our elite level athletes are eligible to receive merchandise and prize winnings based on their performance.
