RaceWay Woods 5K


Saturday, August 16th
Prepare yourself for the 2nd Annual RaceWay 5K on the historical former Meadowdale International RaceWays in RaceWay Woods in Carpentersville. Brought to you by the Rotary Club of Carpentersville-Morning and Dick Pond Athletics.
Gather your friends, colleges, family members & random strangers and prepare to run or walk through the historic race track and experience all the curves, straightaways embankments, and hills this race has to offer!
The RaceWay 5K will be held on the historical former Meadowdale International RaceWays in RaceWay Woods in Carpentersville.

Graham's Sundae 5K

Finish at Gunnar Anderson Forest Preserve with an ice cream social.

Schaumburg Shuffle - September 1st, 2014

In conjunction with Schaumburg's Septemberfest, the Rotary Club of Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates, in cooperation with Team Caffeine, is hosting a 5k Race, Run, or Walk on Monday, September 1st (Labor Day) 2014 at 8:00am. In addition to the 5k, kids can participate in a CARA Youth Circuit 1K Race at 9:00am, thus allowing "Shufflers" to complete the 5K race and stick around to cheer on the kids, then enjoy the Schaumburg Septemberfest Parade at 10:00am.

Dash in the Dark 2014

Friday, August 29th

This local race is sponsored by Dick Pond Athletics and Asics. It starts and ends at Pottawatomie Park in St. Charles. The course heads north from there, with portions of the route illuminated. Bring your glow sticks, wear your fluorescent apparel and come run! Prizes for top finishers and most-illuminated runners!

School District 54 10th Annual Run to Read

September 28th, 2014
Run to Read is a day of races offering something for everyone. The day begins with 100-yard and 400-yard dashes for children. Every child will receive a medal.
At 8:45 sharp, we will start our 5K run on a USATF-certified course over mostly flat roads . There is also a family fun walk for adults and children alike at 9 a.m. All four events support our goal of collecting 1,000 children's books for every classroom in District 54. Itasca's Oktoberfast 5K

October 4th, 2014
The course is a fast, scenic neighborhood route through Itasca, with a downhill finish into Usher Park, featuring: Early packet pick-up at Dick Pond Athletics in Schaumburg for participants registered by September 30th.

F.A.B. 5K

The Fight Against Breast Cancer (F.A.B.) 5K is a neighborhood Run/Walk dedicated to fundraising for local and national charities with a focus on support for Breast Cancer research and families currently undergoing breast cancer treatment.

Schaumburg Half Marathon and 5K Turkey Trot

Celebrate the end of the season at one of Chicagoland's largest half marathon & 5k events. The event offers a relatively flat, scenic, USATF certified paved course. There is also a 5k Run/Walk for those who want to participate in something a bit shorter. The course is conveniently located just off the Rt 53 and I-90 Interchange.
